There's a lot of free information in the world, but the problem is GUIDANCE.
What If You want to get started with your EV DIY project.
Are you Looking for a headstart in retrofitting?
Is there any single template available to get me to prototype in under a week? 🤔
- YES, this is for you. ✅
Are all the resources documented in the template?
- YES, there is a read-me sheet and comments on cell blocks to assist you.
Does this template allow me to get a dashboard-like view to compare my iterations?
- YES, it does this template is for you.
What I noticed in the beginning stages my study is that the calculations are tough in their form themselves. The bigger frustration is in comparing the different motor and cells.
- Motor A has 6kW Power, it gives me an acceleration time of 4 secs
- Motor B has 4kW power. Wait what was the acceleration time,
(Goes back to old book notes to find the calculations.)
- Same goes with selecting the right cells.
I wanted to create an easy way to do this. finally, I making this available to all.
Some consistently encountered questions while assessing the DIY EV concept.
- how much will the cell weigh?
- how much power to get me a 0-60 time of 4secs?
- how many cells will I require?
- How many cells in series,? how many in parallel?
- What C-rate is the battery pack operating in?
- Is there a way or a dashboard-style view to help me compare my various iterations
One more qs.
Does this template work for imperial units (lb-foot-seconds)?
- YES. There is a US-edition that work in miles and lb-ft. ✅
For other countries, there is a STD-edition which work on
(Kg-meter-seconds) in there the units are in Km and N-m. ✅
Please, select the Edition you want and give this a go!.
